Meet Our Coaches

Jeremy Walker - Head Coach

Currently in his 21st year of teaching and coaching, Coach Walker's career began in Maypearl, Texas where he coached multiple sports from 2005 to 2015.  He went on to join Eaton High School as the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach and Freshmen Football Coach from 2015 to 2022.  During this time Eaton captured the Class 5A Baseball State Championship in 2018 and Coach Walker was honored as the 2018 Eaton HS Assistant Coach of the Year.

In 2024, he was inducted into the Northwest ISD Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the 2018 Eaton State Championship Baseball Team in recognition of their exceptional accomplishment.  After spending three years at Waxahachie High School, he returned to Eaton in 2025.

Coach Walker is the proud father to his four-year-old son, Madden.

David McGhee - Varsity Assistant Coach

A native to Monroe, Louisiana, Coach McGhee brings extensive experience in player development and program building at the highest levels of Texas high school athletics.

Prior to Eaton, Coach McGhee spent 3 seasons at Austin Westlake High School as the Varsity Baseball Hitting Coach and Player Development Coordinator.  During that time, Westlake captured a district championship, made a state tournament appearance, set a school record with 40 wins, and earned a Top 30 national ranking.  He coached multiple All-District and All-State selections, including a 15th overall MLB Draft pick.  On the football side, he was part of two semifinal runs and a state championship appearance and was named Dave Campbell's Video Coordinator of the Month.

Coach McGhee also served as Head Baseball Coach at DeSoto High School for two seasons, where he rebuilt and expanded the program.  Additional coaching stops include South Grand Prairie, North Crowley, Ouachita Parish, and Grace Christian contributing to multiple playoff runs and district championships.

Brandon McCollugh - Freshman Coach

Coach McCollugh has had a substantial coaching career, marking his 18th year overall.  At Eaton High School, he has dedicated eight years to the football program, serving as the wide receivers coach.  Additionally, he's in his second year contributing to the baseball program, further showcasing his versatility and commitment to developing student-athletes across multiple sports.  His experience likely brings valuable insights and skills to both teams.  

Coach McCollugh and his wife, LeAnn, an interventionist at Sendera Ranch Elementary, are dedicated members of the Northwest ISD community, actively engaging in their professional and personal lives.  With three sons--Brody, a junior at Eaton, Jaxson, a freshman at Eaton, and Landry, a 7th grader at Adams middle school--their family is well-integrated into the Eaton community and they are passionate about supporting Eagle athletics.
